Our Services

Roof Vacuuming

Ballast removal or dry vacuuming as it is also referred to as is the foundation of our service line. Our vacuum system is set up next to the building and connected to a specialized nozzle using a combination of hose and PVC pipe. We then make a single pass to remove all loose and non-embedded rock from the roof surface. Our machines can vacuum all types of roofing aggregates including pea gravel and 1” to 4” ballast rock making wheelbarrows and shovels obsolete. This eliminates the most labor-intensive portion of a ballasted single-ply tear off.

  • Disposal of rock included
  • Sizable labor and cost reduction
  • Reduces the time required for a roof tear-off
  • Removes all the loose gravel and dirt from the surface

Wet Vacuuming

For those roof applications that require the roof surface be as clean as possible, we provide our wet vacuuming process. First we vacuum all the loose and non-embedded rock from the roof.  We then go over the surface again using a specialized nozzle that utilizes highly pressurized water directed at the roof surface removing all dirt, rock, and debris while vacuuming simultaneously. This provides an extremely clean roof ready and capable of receiving a bonded surface or a green roof application.

  • Provides a dust free project environment
  • Removes heavy accumulations
  • Includes disposal of all vacuumed material
  • Creates a viable environment for a green roof installation

Spudding

Certain roof applications require the removal of all embedded rock, which creates a smooth working surface. Using specially designed equipment for this purpose, we vacuum the loose rock first, then “spud” the roof, removing all of the embedded roofing aggregate, and lastly we make a final vacuum pass over the roof to remove the remaining material and debris. This provides a smooth, clean surface free of all embedded material.

  • Requires much less labor and time
  • Includes the disposal of all the material
  • Reduces workman’s comp claims

Power Broom System

For a roof surface that needs to be cleaner than what a single pass of the vacuum can provide but does not require a full wet vacuuming, we offer our power broom service. First we vacuum the loose, non-embedded rock from the roof. Then we power broom the entire surface with a specialized piece of equipment followed immediately with another vacuum pass. This process removes the accumulated dirt and smaller rock particles.

  • Eliminates heavy deposits
  • Removes additional loosely embedded rock
  • Includes the disposal of all removed material

Industrial Vacuuming

With our vacuum systems we are able to perform more tasks beyond our roof preparation services. Water filtration media removal, industrial cleaning, and city maintenance projects are just some examples of what our advanced systems can accomplish. We have experience with several different applications and we discover new ones frequently. If you have any questions or ideas please feel free to contact one of our sales associates for further assistance.

Solar Panel Footprint Creation

Our equipment allows us the unique ability to create precise and accurate footprints for the installation of various solar panel configurations. We are able to meet even the most intricate solar panel design requirements. Using a simple marking procedure to define the footprints, we use our vacuum system to remove the roofing aggregate required to complete the project. We will provide an accurate assessment of the roofing material being removed allowing for an even exchange of weight between the roofing aggregate and solar panels.

  • Provides accurate footprints while maintaining the integrity of the roof
  • Saves time and reduces cost
  • Smaller crew can maintain a cleaner working environment
